How do I thread my needle?
If you’re supposed to use two strands for the color you’re stitching, take one strand of thread in your hands. Match each end of the thread up to one another. If you’re supposed to use one strand for the color you’re stitching, you should tie a knot at one end of the thread (large enough to prevent the thread from slipping through the fabric).
Hold the needle in your non-dominant hand and the thread in your dominant hand. Slowly push the end of the thread through the eye of the needle. If it helps, you can put the end of your thread between your lips to help straighten the thread, making it easier to guide it through the eye of the needle.
