A quarter stitch is literally just a quarter of a full stitch, used to add detail to your cross stitch design. On your fabric, you’ll come up through the fabric in the corner where the quarter stitch is indicated (as a tiny symbol in one quadrant of a square). Pull your thread taut and then com down through the fabric in the center of the square.
